Songs my wife might like

Tanya Noe

Hey, I made a mix cd that doesn’t have dance music on it! My wife, Tanya, is my best friend in the world and she can’t stand my normal diet of house tracks. Lately she has really been into two stations on satellite radio, Garage Rock, and Coffeehouse. With that in consideration I made a mix for her and included only songs I thought she would like. Some I knew she had heard, and some I knew she hadn’t. I didn’t do it on purpose, but it also kinda feels like a musical love letter, but maybe that’s just me. I have been listening to it all morning, and I actually really like it. Please download it, and leave comments too!

Weekend Fun

Monday, July 13th, 2009

For the first time in a while, I actually hung out in Norfolk. I checked out the Best of the Beast show at Commonwealth featuring works of art by Dust La Rock and tunes by Nick Catchdubs. It was a lot of fun to hang out with my friend John Menard and discuss the ups and downs of the lonely dj.

As you can see, I was hanging out with Dust La Rock, Nick Catchdubs, and the one and only Chad Hugo of the Neptunes

Oh yeah, and McShortsington from Whiskerino was hanging out too

Thanks to illusive media for the photos, obviously they were doctored with my godawful paint skills

Audience of ONE

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Made a new mix last night, and I actually had an audience this time. My friend, Erik, hit me up on Skype to video chat right before I started playing. Instead of us ending the conversation, he thought he would just hang out, listen, and watch as I put the mix together. Surprisingly, it was really cool having somebody hang out while I did this, and overall I think it helped the mix out quite a bit. For me, putting these mixes together is really personal, but having people listen and just enjoy the music is really rewarding.
So here it is, this weeks mix: Audience of ONE
